In an ongoing effort to better understand and serve Automate IO’s customers, at times Automate IO conducts research on its customer demographics, interests and behavior based on the personal information and other information provided to us. This research may be compiled and analyzed on an aggregate basis. This aggregate information does not identify you personally and is not considered to be personal information
As is true of most other websites, the Website collects certain information automatically and stores it in log files. The information may include (i) internet protocol (“IP”) addresses, (ii) the region or general location where your computer or device is accessing the internet, (iii) browser and system information, and (iv) other actions performed by you on the Website. We use this information to help us design our Website to better suit our users’ needs. We maintain physical, technical and administrative safeguards to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information via the Website, your information is protected both online and offline.
Wherever we collect sensitive information (such as credit card data and Login Credentials), that information is encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure way. You can verify this by looking for a lock icon in the address bar and looking for "https" at the beginning of the address of the Website.
While we use encryption to protect sensitive information transmitted online, we also protect your information offline. The computers/servers in which we store personal information and encrypted Login Credentials are kept in a secure environment. Only employees who need access to the information to perform a specific job (for example, billing or customer service) are granted access to personal information. In addition, we commit to taking appropriate disciplinary measures to enforce our employees' privacy responsibilities.
We have adequate internal IT policies and procedures in place to safeguard your data from being leaked to external entities, including a Vulnerability disclosure program that allows anyone to report security vulnerabilities.
Automate IO does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If you are under the age of 13, please do not submit any personal information through the Services. If you have reason to believe that a child under the age of 13 has provided personal information to Automate IO through the Services, please contact us, and we will endeavor to delete that information from our databases.
Automate IO is responsible for the processing of personal data it receives under the Privacy Shield Framework and subsequently transfers to a third party acting as an agent on its behalf. We comply with the Privacy Shield Principles for all onward transfers of personal data from the EU and Switzerland, including the onward transfer liability provisions.
